Support Plan for the Promotion of Children's Reading Activities 2010

On September 1st, 2010, the International Library of Children's Literature (ILCL) settled on the "Support Plan for the Promotion of Children's Reading Activities 2010," which will cover five years from FY2010 to FY2014.

The Plan shows the required roles of the ILCL as follows: (1) providing more information about children's reading and building networks among people related to children's reading, (2) helping to develop human resources, and (3) supporting school libraries. The goal of the Plan is to provide more adequate support for the staff serving children in public libraries, school libraries, and home libraries. In cooperation with other related organizations and institutions, the ILCL will carry out activities based on the Plan.
