Scope of copying service
The ILCL provides photoduplication services in accordance with the "Copyright Law", "The National Diet Library Law" and "The National Diet Library Rules Concerning the Use of Library Materials" so as not to infringe the rights of the copyright holders.

- Remote Photoduplication Service for patrons in Japan
- Overseas Request for copying
Copying methods
The following copying methods are available at the ILCL.
- Photocopy
- Paper copy from microfiche
- Paper copy from microfilm
- Printouts of electronic materials
The following services will be carried out at the Tokyo Main Library: duplication of a material onto microfilm, printing from microfilm/fiche to another microfilm/fiche, and enlarged printing from microfilm onto printing paper. For details, please inquire at the Photoduplication Counter.
* Depending on the condition of the materials etc., the ILCL may specify the copying method.
* Missing pages or other faults in the copies must be reported on the same day you receive them.
