Commentary

Published in 1986, this is a sequel to "Chororin no sutekina seta [Chororin's wonderful sweater]", one of the creator's representative works. The work depicts the lizard Chororin and his younger brother Tokke as they venture through a dark and dangerous forest to their uncle's house. The rich color usage is very impressive and memorable.
