Commentary

This is the first book in the original picture book series "Kingyo no otsukai [The goldfish couriers]" which feature a goldfish from nursery tales by Yosano Akiko as the main character with artwork added by the creator of this book. In this slightly surreal and nonsensical story, a goldfish goes swimming in the ocean with its owner.
