Commentary

Mr. Octopus comes up on land from the sea and uses successively faster means of transportation, from a bicycle, to a car, to a train. This picture book was born from the creators' amazement at the fast growth of their 1 year old daughter. The pink color of the octopus, the only character of the book painted in paints, is very eye-catching.
