Commentary: This work depicts a dandelion which passes the winter by spreading its leaves on the ground, and then blossoms in the spring and carries its seeds on fluffy hairs to lay down roots in new land and prepare again for winter. The veins of the leaves and each individual hair are depicted delicately in watercolors.
