Commentary

This work is modeled on an actual ranch where cattle which were contaminated by radioactive materials in caution zone around a nuclear power plant are raised without being killed. In a town which the people have abandoned, the main character is portrayed in powerful brushstrokes as he contemplates the meaning of life while feeding the cows.
