ILCL learning support project in collaboration with school libraries has kicked off

The ILCL has started a model project of collaboration and cooperation between public libraries and school libraries. In this project, the ILCL makes booklists for coursework in elementary, junior high and high schools, cooperating with schools and school libraries.

In FY 2010, the ILCL makes a booklist for learning geography at Takehaya Junior High School Attached to Tokyo Gakugei University, with a teacher, a school librarian, and a researcher. The booklist is to be assessed after being used at the school mentioned above.
