Series: what's happening with children's books in Spain?

In this article, translator Kazumi Uno describes the history and culture of Spain and Spanish-speaking Latin-American countries, and Spanish children's literature, which has developed in the social background of each country. Kaleidoscope of life in history as written by Klaus Kordon

On November 29th and 30th, 2014, the lectures of Klaus Kordon, German children's author, were held in the International Library of Children's Literature in Tokyo and the Osaka Prefectural Central Library. In this article, Shinichi Sakayori, who served as the interpreter and introduced Kordon's works at the events, focuses on the character of Kordon's "Berlin" trilogy, which depicts a German working class family from the children's point of view from the end of the First World War to the end of the Second World War, and explores Kordon's motive for writing historical novels.
