Three remote training programs by NDL were released on YouTube

The National Diet Library (NDL) announced on March 27, 2018, the opening of a remote training program called The Basics of Children’s Literature: Things You Should Know When You Give Books for Children. This series comprises three videos of lectures in Japanese by Ariko Kawabata and Takeo Miyakawa, two well known scholars of children’s literature in Japan. The lectures are entitled What Is Children’s Literature?, Disappearance of the Voice from Modern Japanese Children’s Literature and A General History of Foreign Children’s Literature: Focusing on English Children’s Literature.
