国際アンデルセン賞候補者の作品から選ばれた20冊

【2024-024】

2024年2月9日（金）、国際児童図書評議会（International Board on Books for Young People: IBBY）は、2024年国際アンデルセン賞候補者の作品から選んだ20冊のリストを発表した。これは、世界の子どもたちが読めるように、ぜひ多くの言語に訳されてほしい本として、同賞審査員が選んだものである（作者の日本語読みは判明した場合のみ記載した）。リストはIBBYのウェブサイトからダウンロードできる。

日本の作家の作品では、きたむらさとし氏が絵を描き、英国で出版された “The Young Inferno” が選ばれている。このほか、ショートリストにノミネートされた作家・画家の作品も推薦されている。

2024年の受賞者は、4月8日（月）にボローニャ・ブックフェアで発表される。「小さなノーベル賞」と称される同賞は、子どもの本において永続的な貢献した作家・画家の全業績に対して授与される。
