2023年 Teens’ Top Ten

2023年11月4日（土）、米国図書館協会（American Library Association: ALA）の一部門である米国ヤングアダルト図書館サービス協会（Young Adult Library Services Association: YALSA）は、2023年のTeens’ Top Tenを発表した。

Teens’ Top Tenでは、学校や図書館のブッククラブのメンバーが中心となって、前年に出版された本の中から候補作を選び、夏の間、積極的に読んでもらえるよう4月の全米図書館週間（National Library Week）に発表する。その後8月から10月までの期間中、12歳から18歳の読者が、これらの候補作から好きな本にオンラインで投票する。

ブッククラブのメンバーは幅広い作品の中から候補作を決定するが、その過程で出版社から送られてきた新刊の見本を読み、書評を書くといった取り組みも行っている。

本年の Teens’ Top Ten には、独裁政権下のルーマニアを舞台にした歴史フィクション “I Must Betray You”（邦訳『モノクロの街の夜明けに』）や、2022年に全米図書賞を受賞した “All My Rage” などが含まれている。
