2024年ボローニャ・ラガッツィ賞の受賞作品決定

2024年のボローニャ・ラガッツィ賞及びボローニャ・ラガッツィ・クロスメディア賞の受賞作品が発表された。

イタリアのボローニャでは毎年、児童書の世界的な見本市ボローニャ・ブックフェア（Bologna Children's Book Fair）が開催されており、ボローニャ・ラガッツィ賞はそこで優れた児童書に贈られる賞である。作家やイラストレーターに対してではなく、本そのものに贈られる賞として、編集や装丁の仕事を含めて総合的に審査される。

2024年のボローニャ・ラガッツィ賞は、フィクションの部、ノンフィクションの部（どちらも2022年1月～2023年12月に出版された本が対象）、オペラプリマの部（2023年1月～12月に出版された作家・画家の第一作が対象）、漫画の部（2022年1月～2023年12月に出版された本が対象）のほか、特に革新的な本がニューホライズン賞に選ばれ、さらに特別賞が選出された。また、新設された赤ちゃん絵本の部（2022年1月～2023年12月に出版された本が対象）は、今後も引き続き設けられる。

2024年の特別部門である海の本の部（2018年1月～2023年12月に出版された本が対象）は、2024年8月から9月にかけて、国際児童図書評議会（IBBY）の第39回世界大会がイタリアの海辺の町トリエステで開催されることにちなんで設けられ、日本からは『死んだかいぞく』が優秀賞に選ばれた。

ボローニャ・ラガッツィ・クロスメディア賞は、本を中心に複数のメディアで物語の世界を展開するプロジェクトを顕彰するものである。クロスメディアプロジェクトの部は、2021年1月から2023年12月までの間に発表された出版物、映画、テレビ番組、アプリケーション、ビデオゲーム、ウェブコンテンツ、ポッドキャスト、音声コンテンツ、ウェブトゥーン（デジタルコミックの一種）、創作プラットフォームが対象となった。デジタル読書体験の部は、2021年1月から2023年12月までの間に発表されたデジタル読書プラットフォーム、デジタル図書館、アプリケーション、デジタル出版シリーズが対象となった。
