A version in Lancashire dialect of the traditional rhyme “The Three Jovial Welshmen.” After the industrial revolution began the environment in the cities was dirty, dark, and crowded. This humorous story of huntsmen galloping about the beautiful English countryside must have fascinated young city dwellers of those days.
